What is European Sauna House?
Authentic European Sauna House is a wellness/spa facility based around the therapeutic benefits and healing power of Traditional Dry Finnish Saunas & Cold Plunges. It usually offers refreshment bar, massages, and relaxation lounge as additional services. One usually spends 2-3 hours during one visit.
What Should I bring to the Sauna House with me?
Everything you need for a comfortable sauna experience is provided at reception, including a robe, sauna towel, and bed sheet. For your safety, bring your own non-slip footwear to wear outside the sauna. It’s also recommended to bring your own towel for showering afterward and a personal (non-glass) water bottle to stay hydrated. Leave phones and electronic devices in the locker room. If you choose to bring them into the sauna area, please respect others’ privacy—no photos or recordings are allowed, and phone use is only permitted in the refreshment bar area.
What is Proper Sauna Etiquette?
Our sauna is a shared sanctuary, and proper etiquette ensures everyone enjoys a relaxing experience. Keep conversations quiet unless the group agrees to talk, and always use a towel or sheet (provided at reception) to avoid direct skin contact with benches. Robes, towels, and bed sheets are provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own towel for showering after your sauna session. If you choose to be nude, be mindful of others’ privacy by positioning yourself discreetly. Rinse in the shower before entering the cold plunge, respect personal space by not staring, and leave phones, cameras, and recordings outside. Beginners are encouraged to sit on the lower benches, while more experienced sauna users naturally gravitate toward the higher, hotter levels. Sessions are best kept to 5–15 minutes, and staying hydrated before and after is essential.
Are the saunas Infra-red or Traditional?
Both, we offer 4 traditional dry saunas (Finnish, Salt, Herbal, Honey) and 1 wide spectrum Infra-red Sauna, all known for their health benefits and robust body of research supporting their efficacy.
Do You have Cold Plunge?
Cold Plunge is an essential part of Sauna House! we offer two types: First, we offer a traditional large bucket cold plunge for experienced sauna users. Second, we offer simple rinse showers for those who are new to the saunas and want to take it slow.
Are there any contraindication to sauna?
Sauna use is generally safe for most people, but certain conditions require caution or medical consultation. Individuals with heart disease, high blood pressure, pregnancy, respiratory issues, claustrophobia, or other chronic health concerns should speak with a healthcare professional before using the sauna. Children, older adults, and anyone feeling unwell should also use discretion. Listening to your body and following recommended time and temperature guidelines helps ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
What is Movement Therapy?
Movement Therapy is a harmonious blend of Physical Therapy and Personal Training. Physical therapy brings robust body of research and evidence while Personal training brings proactive approach and visionary mindset to personal wellness. Together, the clinical precision of physical therapy & strength training principles are utilized to reverse engineer a human body capable of performing functional movement patterns with ease and low risk of injury.
Do I need a referral to work with you?
No referral is needed. Whether you are bouncing back to being active again, recovering from an injury, or just want to bulletproof your physique, we welcome self- referral clients of all backgrounds and fitness levels
Are walk in customers welcome?
Yes! All walk in customers are welcome. However, reserving your spot(s) via online booking is suggested/preferred.
How do your memberships work?
Memberships are monthly and give you unlimited access to a service. For example, Sauna membership includes unlimited sauna entries, Recovery membership includes unlimited recovery treatments, while Total Wellness combines both in one. *All Movement Therapy Services are offered via packages
Can I combine training with sauna and recovery?
Absolutely! In fact, we recommend it! One gets unlimited access to Sauna House or Athletic Recovery Lounge via training packages – depending on individual/partner/small group package. Many clients train first, recover afterward, and finish with a sauna session for maximum benefit.
